Saturday Zaino came 3rd

I woke up this morning in a lot of pain with dizzy spells so really did not think I was going to be able to do the test. Phil gave me pain killers and went up to the yard to get Zaino ready and put his rug and said if you make it fine but if not don’t worry I felt that ill. I did manage to make it, all I had to do was plait. He was much quieter today and tired made a few mistakes in the test more my fault as I was struggling with energy to ride him together. This is another brilliant result and lots of miles on the clock for Zaino. I am now going to rest.

Yes what a great result especially as you are not feeling good after your fall. Best thing you can do is take it easy when not in competitions. So glad he has settled now so lets hope he shines and shows his very best. Well done to both of you.

I do not mean to be rude or disrespectful, and I am very much enjoying reading your blog and I have a lot of respect for you. That being said, I feel like you are taking an unreasonable risk. There are a lot of spooky things where you are, and you have already fallen off and hurt yourself once. I see from your photos that you have not taken Courtney King-Dye’s lesson to heart–it would be a shame if you ended up like her or dead. Please have the courage to look different from everyone else around you and put a helmet on.

Well done to you & Zaino 🙂 great result for ‘Team’ GB. Now take it easy and give yourself some ‘me’ time. xx

    • Thanks Gail, how is Ziggers doing ? I hope he has his bandage off and is feeling a lot more comfortable. XXX

Ziggers is doing OK! Just a light bandage now and he is more mobile 🙂 was even allowed out of his stable, albeit briefly, last week – so baby steps as they say 🙂 xxx

Fantastic, well done Jo. As already mentioned, you definately need some quality me time in between schooling and competing to relax and restore.

Was it Phils big day today?
